Faile
November 10th, 2008
Faile (pronounced “fail”) are a collective based in New York. Formed in 1999 they are referred (by some) as pioneers of global contemporary street art. Founding members Patrick McNeil, Patrick Miller and Aiko Nakagawa have evolved from wheatpasting screen printed posters on streets into permanent pieces of artwork combining stencil, graf, stickers and paint. The work is stunning and the venue, an old school on the verge of being demolished; surreal.
The show is curated by Lazarides gallery and is well worth the trip.

Interesting ‘08
June 22nd, 2008
We went along to Interesting ‘08 on Saturday and had a great day. Many thanks to Russell Davis for organizing the whole thing. Rather than talking about it I though I wold have some verbal diarrhea with Wordle. Hopefully also serves as a reminder of what went on to people who were there, I have tried to get at least one word for every talk…

Bartlett Summer Show 2007
June 23rd, 2007
So it’s that time of year again, mid show season, when the Bartfest rears it head. I have been sceptical in recent years, but this was a really good show. Check out Ellen Pages video about the flooding of london (I’m trying to get if off her to post here), a great concept really well executed. For opening times click here.
